More Decepticons And Autobots Revealed

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is revving up for its July 1st release and that means it’s time to get fans excited about the new toys that will be accompanying the movie.

Collider has gotten their hands on some images that may or may not be the final products as the packaging says Transformers 3 instead of using the Dark of the Moon title, but it is easier for kids to remember the simpler title so it could simply be a matter of marketing.

There are a couple of different styles that will be available but I personally think the Mech Tech toys look the best. Megatron and Bumblebee look the coolest out of the collection, so far.
Not sure about how much truth is in the rumors but Transformers: Dark of the Moon will supposedly have some re-designs going on, with Optimus Prime sporting a more heroic look and Bumblebee being modified to look more mature. Really? I thought maybe the new looks were just an added draw to help boost sales of the new toy line, but maybe that’s just my cynical nature. Megatron has also undergone some changes, especially in vehicle mode; he’ll now transform into a Mack Titan 10-wheeler tank truck equipped with heavy weaponry and a tarp, which will possibly be used as a cape when in humanoid form.

While I’m not too jazzed about the toys, I’m looking forward to July because this film looks like it will have more in common with the first film, avoiding the problems that made Revenge of the Fallen a less spectacular piece of work.
